    Ahh the greens.

Good intentions and some ok ideas wrapped up in policies that the monster raving loony party would have thought were a bit too unrealistic to publish.

The “overall volume” of advertising on TV and newspapers will be controlled and cut, as part of a war on the “materialist and consumption driven culture which is not sustainable”.
That's good. Everybody hates it when the ads are louder than the programmes.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

The Spectator blog post is based on the Telegraph article which is based on the document that is published at each party conference. The last conference was in September, so the document has been around for a while - I don't remember the Telegraph covering it four months ago when it was published, so I wonder what has suddenly made it so newsworthy this week?

The next conference is in early March, so the document will probably be updated then, and no doubt they will reveal a manifesto nearer the election.

However, the ideas referenced in the Telegraph, and then copied in the Spectator blog post, are not from a manifesto because it doesn't exist.
Now I'm absolutely convinced you should run for IPSE CC.
