I never had you down as a Lib Dem voter Dodgy.Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostPeople who vote labour like to give the impression that they care about other people.
People who vote Tory are either driven by class, want the country run by the most competent party and /or want the freedom to go about their affairs as they wish whilst accepting responsibility for their own lives.
People who vote UKIP are either those who are p*ssed of with the other two parties or raving nutters and little englanders.

You are presuming every party stands in every constituency.
When I first voted which was in a Labour strong hold, there were no Tory and Lib Dem candidates.
So if you wanted to vote against the sitting MP there were random socialist parties, the Communist Party and the Greens.
The sitting Labour MP won by a landslide.
Since then I've been lucky enough to live in a few marginal constituencies. So voting some random party isn't a wasted vote as the candidate who wins and becomes MP normally pulls his/her finger out. You hear about them everywhere until you are sick of them. If they don't they get voted out."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
