I can't explain why he would think that. You should ask him, he's the racist.

Ban the jobless from driving to ease congestion, Ukip candidate says - Telegraph
Import for us to understand is, do contractors who are in between contracts count as jobless? ( I suppose only those who claim JSA)
Is this a UKIP policy?
No.

Not yet, they don't seem to have any policies: Ukip policy chief steps down to focus on campaigning | Politics | The Guardian although there is apparently a manifesto from 2014 (I see they took out some of their more obscure points such as introducing a dress code for taxi drivers, repainting trains in traditional colours, insisting on a proper dress code for theatre-goers, making the Circle line on London’s tube circular again, scrapping maternity leave, investigating racism against white people at the BBC, teaching schoolchildren about the roles of Arab and African countries in promoting slavery, and reintroducing capital punishment):Originally posted by Flashman View PostAnd to round off after 5 pages of rants

No.

Personally I wouldn't believe everything that is in a kipper manifesto nor their policies (well, they're only rehashed Tory ones anyway), i.e. from their current manifesto:
Yet:In the meantime, your UKIP MEPs will continue to go to
Brussels and Strasbourg with a mission unlike that of any
other party.
We don’t go there to make the EU better, more powerful, and
help it pass more laws.
We go there to find out what it’s up to, and let you know. Some
of us spend a good deal of time there, unfortunately, making
sure we know what they’re cooking up, creating an
‘Opposition’ and voting against the EU’s encroachment on our
democracy.

UKIP are the electorates reaction to the unpopular policies of immigration and EU interference in our state affairs. Labour's open door to immigration was designed to undermine the cultural make up of the UK. Membership of the EU is very much part of past and present immigration policies.
We middle class people do not see immigrants other than in their places of work. So we do not see the fall out of what it is like to live in the most deprived areas of the country where immigrants are competing for welfare, education for kids, low level jobs and healthcare. What we do see (thanks to the daily mail) is the emergence of what are effectively nation states within the UK state, again down to not only immigration policies but our failure to integrate immigrants into British culture - the very culture the left have sought to undermine.
It matters little whether UKIP have any meaningful policies. They exist to bring the main parties to heel and to remind them who they are working for.
You affluent contractors with your freedom to sell yourselves to the highest bidder across 27 countries may sneer all you like but the upshot is that the more you sneer and fail to understand what drives people to UKIP the less your chances of enjoying your freedoms will continue.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

Based on who it's coming from, I view that as a compliment - much as I'd hate endorsement from Griffiths or Farage.Originally posted by turbowoowoo View PostCongrats for getting my vote for 'Yes I really am a stupid pr1ck' award

Some of us don't need to stick to just 27 countries, there's a whole world out there, no need to be parochial...Originally posted by DodgyAgent View PostYou affluent contractors with your freedom to sell yourselves to the highest bidder across 27 countries may sneer all you like but the upshot is that the more you sneer and fail to understand what drives people to UKIP the less your chances of enjoying your freedoms will continue.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
