So I question the inability of NHS Scotland to monopolise on their greater funding at the expense of the English to produce better national health and I am now an alcoholic.

Scotland has a much higher % in patient admission rate than England, probably due to poorer living conditions historically. The SNP didn't cause that ij the last five years by the way.

The answer is socialism. The less self reliant people are the less they do to take care of themselves. Being part of a collective whatever the problem is it is everyone (else's) responsibility. Their poor living conditions are entirely down to their choices about how they live their lives.

No disagreement from me. Whinestrone's argument is that the NHS in Scotland is underperforming because of the SNP. I say it's not. It's living conditions and lifestyle choices of the last 200 years.

Spot on! I had a conversation a couple of years ago with a member of the socialist worker organisation. He was a posh kid probably rebelling against his parents. In the background lurked some horrible dodgy commie who eventually pulled him away (when I equated the concept of employment exploitation with the way he was being exploited by his minder). I asked him if employing people was exploitation what exactly would human beings spend their time doing other than fighting and f**king. He said everyone would work for the NHS building hospitals.
I laughed. In hindsight although the concept of his ideology is so deeply flawed, the outcome of what he said should happen is in fact happening. We are all being sucked into this totalitarian behemoth who's sanctity is protected by the narrative of left wing ideology.
It is also a self fulfilling entity that controls the lives of people from the cradle to the grave. Scotland is in the advanced stages of this situation.
