Large influx of bob agents?

On a more serious note, what do you agents think about the Bob agents in the market? Are they any competition? Or are they just vultures?

The market is pushing down costs all the time. If you think what it is exactly that recruiters do then the Bobs are doing the same for less. The skills they (hiring functions) think are required are mainly admin. The questions are will the language and culture thing be a step too far? And just how far can the placement process be de humanised?

In the days when a line manager could be coerced and brought into a recruiters network the Bobs would not have stood a chance. Now it is different.

The only way things will change is if skills become hard to find and it becomes once again a suppliers market.
