Maybe that's why Katy Perry told him to get lost...Originally posted by minestrone View PostThe problem with Russell Brand is not Russell Brand as such, it is that a lot of people find him clever and think he has something important to say.

TBF, he has staged protests outside Westminster, but you are attributing to him an intelligence or rather, understanding of the world, far beyond what he actually possesses, as a loudmouthed court jester. The BoE comment is spot on, but how many people understand its role in everything? It's easier to target banks like RBS (it doesn't help that it's received billions in bailouts) than it is to target the puppet masters. The same people expect the political elite to "take action" against the bankers, when the bankers provide perfect scapegoats for their own shenanigans, and also provide an indirect conduit by which to keep debt artificially cheap, rather than utilising the central banks - or better yet, the Treasury - to purchase this debt, in which case it would be blatantly obvious what was going on.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostWhy didn't RB go and protest at the BoE? Or HoC?
None of the central bankers have done much to apologise for the crash, instead they still see it fitting to lecture the rest of the world on things like LIBOR, whilst claiming exorbitant speaking fees once their tenure is up.

If he was a PROPER BA he'd just have cut and pasted his rant from somewhere elseOriginally posted by darmstadt View PostThere is one thing about that blog post though...
And later...
his LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/joseph-...eves/9/15b/aa0 states that his employer is RBS although it looks more like a contractor's profile (it seems he had a Ltd. back in 1998 when living in Scotland although there are mentions on Northern Ireland in various places), oh, and he's a BA. Some more about him: normblog: The normblog profile 189: Joseph Kynaston Reeves
In another posting on his site:
Maybe there's a bit more to him than it seems, maybe, just maybe he might be someone here

Funny as ****, unlike brand who's as funny as piles!
But, the guy seems to insinuate he's a contractor and not an RBS employee. After the publicity this open letter has now got, I fully expect him to be walked offsite in the morning. That's if he gets past reception!I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!
