This was on the telly this morning. A very small amount of DNA comes from the donor (0.1% they said), making the baby "from three people" but to a degree that hardly seems worth worrying about.

The bloke said something like "I know a small amount of DNA comes from the donor, but the baby will still be 100% genetically ours".

Let's hope the child doesn't inherit its father's inability to understand basic numeracy.
