A very UKIPesque statement. Surely the sins or good works of the parents should not be passed to the children?

As far as I am concerned when someone is British, they are British. It makes no difference who their parents were.

Isn't there an advertising regulation that means the price has to be a certain level for a while before it can be called a discount - mostly a swizz though.

With technology it's easy though. As the new model comes out, the old one drops in price drastically in many cases, but it's not really on sale.

The item has to be on sale at the original price for a reasonable amount of time. So if the item is perishable then that could be one day there as if the item is a sofa that could be a few weeks.

Lots of retailers do random discounts all year round - you just need to sign up for their mailing lists.

BTW have you noticed the sofa companies now don't call their discounts "sales" they call them "events".

Nah there was a guy who did similar. However he was getting bread, eggs and milk and came out with a TV.

When did this country become obsessed with Black Friday... don't remember hearing much about it last year but everyones going mental over it today... most of the permies have done nothing but try to get onto the retail websites today and have given up any pretense of doing any work...
