M42 hard shoulder open to drivers

Hard shoulder is open only when motorway is congested and overall speed limit gets changed to 50 mph. That said I think this experiment will only last until first major accident related to use of hard shoulder.Comment

I find it a good place to have a quick nap or, if out with the family, somewhere to have a picnic.
