Should fat people take responsibility for their weight?

Temptation is one thing. But industry has some responsibility too. Why is it only Westerners that suffer from obesity? Bangalore never had an obesity problem until MacDonald's arrived.

I still can't get used to German bread, unless it's butter milch brot. But the seconds I'm back in the UK I yum up a loaf of Hovis, goodness the salt it must contain.

Personally I'd say we should tax fat. BMI on your self assessment. After all ill health finds it's origin with people who are overweight. Why should those that take responsibility for their health pay for those that don't?

Finally fatter people are more dangerous to pedestrians. The breaking distance of a car with four fatties if far greater.

The taboo of fatness needs to be lifted el pronto.

I have not been running for 8 weeks and have put on a stone.

It has been absolutely brilliant. Eating and drinking like Henry 8th.

Send the plumpers to Mauritania, they love fat women there: Mauritania struggles with love of fat women - Health - Health care - More health news | NBC News and presumably the men can go to the USA where it seems to be the standard (hi MF )
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Presumably as you're quite fit and due to the running you must be reasonably svelte which means that putting on a stone must be somewhat noticeable, do you now have a little pot belly or is spread consistently all around so not really noticeable?

It has gathered noticeably on my belly.

Training starts next week though and apart for a 10 day window of near constant drinking at Christmas that will be dry and pieless for quite a while.

How did you throw on so much weight in such a short space of time?!

Agree though, exercise day in day out, you need to take a break from it.

Fat people are good for the environment, they need less water in the bath so use less energy to heat water.

However, they do fart a lot so emit greenhouse gases.

But, they shelter more of the earth's surface from the sun.

Lots of lager, Chinese meals, pies, burgers, biscuits. The last half stone just seemed to come on in the last 2 weeks, like my metabolism just buckled after 6 weeks. I had been hard training for 18 months so just went for it.

I can lose a stone in a month fairly easily. Keep to RDAs and exercise off 1200 cals a day.
