New UAH Lower Troposphere Temperature Data Show No Global Warming for More Than 18 Years | Watts Up With That?

    18 years and counting

and both Satellite sets show slight global cooling since 2000, i.e. 15 years of global cooling. Lets face it this will accelerate as I posted above.

How long are people going to cling to the notion of global warming.

You are a zealot which will mean you will twist any truth half truth or lie into supporting your agenda. Where you cannot argue the logic you simply smear whoever delivers the counter point of view. In terms of winning influence and persuading people of your cause you have only managed to polarise everyone onto the opposite view. If you were genuinely concerned about climate change this is not how to influence people. You certainly wont do so by browbeating and trying to instil.

If climate change is the danger you claim it is you have managed to disguise it very well. Which of course suggests that climate change is not something we should be worried about and that the only matter of concern is that the left wish to make a grab for power.

Until they can start getting grants to investigate global cooling
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Paging EO, they've revised the dataset historically. Shouldn't we be yelling fraud?

Well if you can find some scientists that think there's enough evidence to enquire.

I don't see any though and I suspect if you were to yell fraud scientists would fall on the floor laughing, but that's just a hunch.

Unlike the GISS set where scientists are investigating.

If you read the write-up, the uncertainty interval embraces both slight warming and cooling. Meanwhile, down here on the surface, we've had the warmest Jan-Mar on record. Go figure.

absolutely. It's up to the scientists to provide verifiable and measurable evidence that mankind has caused global warming. All sceptics that I know agree with the theory, but equate it to peeing in the ocean. sure, it raises sea level. but who cares ??

and who cares about this VVVV

But EO thinks you should never revise historical measurements, apparently. BTW That is not smoke, its a thin fog being generated by the GWPF, but as I say I welcome any truly independent investigation, even when commissioned by a body with a political agenda and chaired by, um, a cell biologist. Lets see what they 'discover'. :

I'll tell you what I think pj.
I think I would like to see how these adjustments are made. What are the algorithms, what is the philosophy and what are the rules. How does it work in practice.

At the moment , its all done in secret. That is why enquiring minds are suspicious

Or paranoid. As I've stated repeatedly, you're demonstrably incorrect. For the NASA GISTEMP series, all data and code are open source, you can download and run it yourself. For our HADCRUT from the UEA series the code and the majority of the data are likewise available. [A minority have to be withheld due to non-disclosure agreements with national met. services, it makes a negligible difference]. The algorithms are all documented in the literature and have been for some time. Heck, there was even a project called Clear Climate Code which took the NASA FORTRAN code beloved of scientists and refactored it in Python. Their conclusion:

It is our opinion that the GISTEMP code performs substantially as documented in Hansen, J.E., and S. Lebedeff, 1987: Global trends of measured surface air temperature. J. Geophys. Res., 92, 13345-13372., the GISTEMP documentation, and other papers describing updates to the procedure. Currently the ccc-gistemp code produces results that are almost identical to the GISS code. As we emulate the exact GISS algorithm more closely, our results get closer.
But you knew most of this, you're being wilfully disingenous.
