In which case I plead guilty, so where do I prepare to spend the next 20 years? Hope to whichever sky fairy happens to be looking over me that it's not somewhere in Scotland. That would be just too bleeding cruel...

Unfortunately I'd also be eating it, and I hate porridge. What sort of a nation would inflict such an abomination on a civilised world? Ha ha, the same one that gave us the deep fried mars bar.

Well, all nationalities get called names and they are a derogatory, English examples, Poms, little Englanders, Brits, Sasanach, Limey.....etc

Then we have regional terms such as scouser, janner, weegie, tyke etc.

I guess these are all racist terms too

48%? That's precisely 2% less than you need for a draw. This whole democracy thing isn't sort of really working, is it?

Depends on where and how they are used.

If I was hearing the carp out of you for no other reason than I thought you came from that area while shouting one of those names then the term would be derogatory.

But you don't see them used in BBC articles
