He also has a vote. So you better understand it."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark Twain -
I take it there is some anniversary rally/mass cry wank in town today.

We got Brown and May because of our system. We don't vote for a President.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostWho voted for May? Who voted for Gordon? Who voted for the House of Lords?
Our establish only cares for itself. Not the people who voted for it.
We did not loose control, we choose not to participate. A world of difference.
The problem is we did participate in the EU without the vote Brown promised us. He didn't even turn up to sign the document. When we do participate we get outvoted by the smaller countries as the man they voted for has promised to give them our money. Just like FIFA.Comment

But it's not our money. We've borrowed multiples of what we pay to the EU from creditors around the world.Originally posted by GB9 View PostWhen we do participate we get outvoted by the smaller countries as the man they voted for has promised to give them our money. Just like FIFA.

If Scotland vote for independence, they're probably too stupid to realise that the private sector jobs up there (banking sector, Sky, etc.) will have to be brought south of the border.
Say it again, "Freeeeeeeedommmmmm!!!!"The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't existComment

So we're having to borrow to pay for smaller countries? Maybe better if they paid directly?Originally posted by scooterscot View PostBut it's not our money. We've borrowed multiples of what we pay to the EU from creditors around the world.

Its a bit like a lot of these MPs, prominent people and pop stars saying we should take in all the Calais migrants, they know for sure that they won't be housed anywhere near where they live.
