Skype for pensioner with no clue

Another of life's weird little coincidences. Just 10 mins ago the lady friend phoned me to ask if I could fix her Skype which isn't working.

OK so I have a pensioner friend, who would like to use skype (or google hangouts) occasionally, that’s about all, video calls to friends abroad
She has no clue at all about IT, and I won't be around to be the support bod
What's the easiest way to give her idiot proof access to skype?
I was thinking maybe an android tablet, pre-set to log into skype, but even that I am scared will be too much for her
Is there an even easier fool proof way to do it?

Is having 2 accounts too difficult?

Well yes, I have the same Microsoft account on my phone as on my xbox which is kind of the way it has all been designed to work but I cant then call home.
