If you are furloughed you cannot do any work for the compoany that has furloughed you - so how do you find a new contract ?

I think they will be OK with you bending the rules a little to get you back in to paid work so you aren't being supported by handouts TBH

Look for work on a personal basis... i.e. perm / IR35 work to done via umbrella...

If you get lucky and come across an outside gig then you can bring the company back at that point.

Its hardly the time to be holding out for the plum outside gig I feel. Take what you can I say.

I think its over thinking it to be honest, to be worrying about this.
