    Recommend Contract Solicitor ??

    Afternoon all,

Can anyone recommend a good and reasonably priced Solicitor who specialises in Contract/Employment law ???

I've having a fight with an ex-agency and I need to prepare for a writ that I want to issue from breach of contract etc etc..

Don't want to just take 'pot lucj with choosing a Solicitor, so any recommendeations based upon past experience are most welcome.

    Cheers

Depends what you mean by reasonably priced. What most people would consider to be a "good" solicitor will not be what most people consider to be "reasonably priced".

How much money is at stake here?

If money is no object, John Antell is well known to old hands on this board.

These guys have a legal helpline.
It's very good, as is thier tax helpline, but you'd have to be a member I'm afraid.

Not very helpful, but it might be of some use in the future.

      Good-luck.

Indeed, helplines are not always guaranteed to be very helpful and customer suppport rarely does, but one remains stoic about such things.

I used the PCG free 20 legal minutes for something similar to yourself, and they were all I needed. But they can only talk over the phone, so if you want them to actually do something rather than just advise, you'll need to go elsewhere for that.

              I recommend Craig Sharpe

I recommend Craig Sharpe from Sharpes Solicitors

He specialises in Employment and contract law and is a really friendly and reasonable guy.

              Many thanks
