I don't remember needing SC clearance, but I googled it and it sounds like you do these days. Seems odd.

Oddly you don't for a fair few branches in the Army. But the other services (RAF, RN) you do, quite odd as you say.

There's a another issue. I went for the Paras as my second option. Heart wasn't in it. And left 3 weeks ago. So I'll have to have a prior service check now lol.
