I'm a part of a small group going to Hannover next month for this years CeBIT exhibition and was wondering if there were any CeBIT veterans here or people knowledgeable about the city willing to share inside information on where to stay?

CeBIT / Hannover accommodation?

Most hotels within a decent radius of the Messe will already be booked out and you may have to commute some distance, you've left it a bit late! You may be lucky to find a room but the price will be way up there in the clouds as German cities have a habit of whacking up the prices when there is a Messe on and CeBit is very popular. I've known people to commute to it from Köln, Hamburg and even Frankfurt due to hotels being at a premium.Originally posted by zazou View PostI'm a part of a small group going to Hannover next month for this years CeBIT exhibition and was wondering if there were any CeBIT veterans here or people knowledgeable about the city willing to share inside information on where to stay?“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.” -

I've actually worked on a short contract in Hannover during CEBIT time and it was just pure fluke that I got booked into somewhere (decent).Originally posted by zazou View PostI'm a part of a small group going to Hannover next month for this years CeBIT exhibition and was wondering if there were any CeBIT veterans here or people knowledgeable about the city willing to share inside information on where to stay?
You may want to look at neighbouring cities and commute in.
