      I live in Chester and currently contract in the NW.

      Manchester is 1 hour away by car, Liverpool about 50 mins by car + train from Hooton for me.

        From what I've seen, it's all about timing.

        Whenever I start a new role in the south, I get a few calls about northern stuff. When I'm looking for a new role near home, there's nothing in the area.

        The only local work I've had has been working from home, and a few weeks here and there.
