    Quickest job offer to withdrawal!?

I love contracting, I really do.

Had an interview about 10 days ago. Just got an offer over the phone but its for a shorter period than as originally stated. Agreed to take the offer as the rate was good.

4 minutes 18 seconds later, get another call, offer withdrawn!

Do you think I can use this as evidence of 'risk' when fighting hmrc?
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Wow, I would be getting in touch with Guinness!
Did they give a reason for the withdrawal?

Did the client give a reason for this and have you emailed said client a picture of an ar$e and an elbow and inquired whether they can tell the difference?

Yes. Internal cock up and nothing to do with my suitability.

        LOL!

You never know, they may have other roles in the future.

This is because they found someone with better skills than you, they wanted to manage your skills that was why they shorten the contract but unfortunately for you, they found someone better along the way

Let that go and move on,

          Look for other contracts..

Totally incorrect actually but, good try.

The correct answer (probably) is: you've been bobbed.
