    Annoyance at fishing!

Good morning, first post here, well more a vent actually and heads-up...

My annoyance at agency regurgitating a role which I know for a fact they do not have authority to recruit for, sending me a "spec" that originated at a completely separate unlinked agency two years ago (aren't document properties great!) and doing the time-honoured tradition of ignoring Cabinet Office guidelines on security cleared roles.

However, what jumps out at me is their paragraph on the bottom:-

"I will also need the following details regarding your Security Clearance:

    Clearance level held
    Date clearance was granted
    Department that holds clearance
Name and contact details of security officer who conducted clearance
Date of birth (to be provided if successful following interview)"
For me, they are fishing, and I dont think they have any mandate whatsoever to ask for that - its wholly between the Security Controllers of past and future enterprises. Thoughts?
