      That IOM scheme definitely smells strange, possibly illegal - I wouldn't do it.

      Hmm, I did manage to backdate my FRS VAT registration and claim back a load of VAT when I made a cock up by not registering for the FRS from the outset. Agree that this is quite a different scenario to what this IOM company is doing though....
