I hope someone can offer some advice if possible.
Basically partner was working for a contractor through an Agency. A timesheet was completed and signed off by the site foreman and submitted to the Agency for payment. Agency sent hours over to umbrella company for payment but a day later decided to deduct hours from the already signed timesheet stating that they did not have an order number for the hours worked on the Sunday.
They refuse to pay these hours although they are fully aware they were worked and originally signed off by the site foreman. I was wondering if anyone would know what the legal position is regarding their action and what the best course of action would be.
