Silly question. Has the Home Office sent you a letter acknowleding they have your wife's passport? Won't this be enough for the agency? If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.Comment

The poster stated that it takes 6 weeks to receive the letter.Originally posted by pmeswani View PostSilly question. Has the Home Office sent you a letter acknowleding they have your wife's passport? Won't this be enough for the agency?
Just a warning for the poster- regardless of whether the agency checks the passport or not the client may also do the checks.
This is often done by security as soon as you get on site. In other words make sure if you are looking for a contract and you are a non-British citizen make sure you have your passport to hand until after the contract has started."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
