Interview in Brussels

As if it matters, interview was fine, I am aware of the Belgian tax nightmare, this is in fact a six mother, €500/day, bit low, but they want people for three years, after a six month see how your are, so I'm a bit wary better re-read the Belgium thread if anything comes out of this.

I do know now, however, that Brussels has everything I want in life, beer, chips and sausages....

Right now I am drinking a Bush, not a female part but a 12% beer, and it's nice, and doesn't taste of fish. Not like Spesh or Tennents Super, anyone who has ever suffered from a bout of depression knows what they taste like. Everyone is knocking back dead strong ales tho!

I've seen the pissing boy, NLUK was right, it's rubbish, I though it was a great big fountain or something, but it's just a little corner on a street with 70-odd Japanese tourists in front of it. Cant be arsed with the Atomium tho.

The Metro/Tram is a nightmare - I couldn't follow it. Ended up walking most of the way. Not like the German/Swiss ones, dead easy to understand...

I need to get some beers for my bag, and some super-sausages, that's for tomorrow tho, right now it's finish off this 12%-er, quick browse see if Bolton won, might have a quick wank, not sure, (can u say wank in other than General?), kip, and off to watch footy in a Brit bar if I can find one. Anyone ken a Brit bar with telly but with Belgian beer - not after John Smiths or Guinness or owt...

If you can understand the tube in London you can understand the metro in Brussels.

I tend to stay away from Trams in foriegn places unless they are guaranteed to have stop names, which not all do.
