Yeah I know, all my sites are personal, but I originally bought my company address before the company existed, so I just haven't gotten round to transferring it yet...

You severely overestimate the value and popularity of my site!

It's just a Wordpress blog I update far too infrequently with bits of code. Thought it might help me stand out from the crowd if the agent Googles my company. Doubt it will help for my next gig...the last post was in July

This is only for .com addresses in my experience, Nominet really aren't that fussed. You can quite happily register the domain to you as an individual and then use WHOIS opt out and just set the billing for the domain via your registrar to use company card and address. Is such a small thing IMO that it is unlikely to ever get picked up. As the others have said though, as a director there isn't much you can do to keep all of your details hidden.

Using his accountant's address as a Reg Off wouldn't be likely to prevent that, would it ? DirectorCheck, CompanyCheck, TraceSmart etc etc etc (there are hundreds of them) will get anyone any personal info they want from a starting point of your Ltd Co name.

If your registered address is not your personal address you can opt to show reg add only at Companies House which is the main feed for most of the 'check' sites for directors/companies. I agree with others who have pointed out there are many ways to find your personal address but I think it is worth preserving some anonimity if you can.

I have a mixture of .co.uk and .com addresses and get the check emails for both yearly.
