    I agree in terms of being proactive and a while back I contacted people to find out if anything was avaialble out there and I'm not sure whether there genuinely wasn't anything out there or if it was easier for most of them to either ignore or say no!!!

      Linkedin is brilliant for opportunities. I have had the last 3-4 gigs via linkedin, and not from people I would expect, so connect, connect connect people. But not with agents.
