    Contract Issues

    Hi all,

    bit of advice please.

Got an assignment coming up via Hays. Have had PSCToA through, which refers to the assignement confirmation letter, but have been advised that I won't get conf letter until I've returned the PSCToA.

Is this normal? To me it seems a little unusual to be asked to sign something which refers to a document that I don't yet have!

I'm also planning on running it via QDos, who have advised that they would need both parts.

At the moment I'm asking that I get the assignment confirmation letter before I check and sign anything. I thought I would come and seek some advice from the experts before I continue much further though.

    Thanks

This is something that Im starting to see more frequently. You can only ask they provide the assignment confirmation but if they refuse, it's either sign what you have first or walk away from the role.
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Thanks scoobos. I started out in that thread, but to be honest it there were so many sub threads it was getting confusing, so have started this one specific to my current issue, which I couldn't see in that thread. Sorry if I've duped.

Bolshie, thanks for the advice. I'm going to persist for the time being and see how I fair.

Tbh, I'm not sure what they stand to gain from holding back the conf letter?!
