    That's why I use lawyers rather than the likes of QDOS for contract reviews.

    As one of our disliked agents who posts on here has pointed out in the past the likes of QDOS allow clauses through that no lawyer would.

    As I stated before it depends how the entire contract is worded.

    If the agency or client are smart they ensure those clauses are linked.

    This prevents the contractor who decides that the business relationship isn't one worth keeping going after the party they have the contract with to get the money.

    On the other hand the client may decide the business relationship is one worth keeping or they like their reputation so may just pay anyway.
