Anyone here used the services of a business mentor? I'm looking into this for a business start-up plan - there seem to be a few about ranging from free services (limited number) to paying on a hourly basis (quite a few). Shame I'm too old to qualify for the Prince's Trust!

I used one a few years ago via a business startup foundation scheme - advice was very useful, cost nothing and provided some useful pointers at the time with what I was intending to do.______________________

Seems that some are not happy with the 'free' services: New Government Mentoring Program - What Do UK Business Advisors Think? - EcademyOriginally posted by Spoiler View PostAnyone here used the services of a business mentor? Of course, that could just be sour-grapes and vested-interest at play. Still, worth thinking about what you'd get from a free scheme.
On the other hand, I'd believe both in you and you business 100% for a small token fee of £1k / day.*
