What's the situation here exactly?
Contract finishes today.
Client in principle has offered a further extension verbally.
Client wants a 3 month contract
I'm happy to come in and work on existing project/complete handover but not keen on agreeing a 3 monther. I suggested rolling monthly as a maximum but would prefer to be on a Bosman as I have a perm role I'm trying to secure. But that could start anytime in the next 3 months.
We cannot agree periods / terms but both expect me in next week.
There is no paperwork or contract from agency & they are not aware.
I'm retaining all client equipment & plan to be back in on site on Thursday.
The client is a little slow to react to things.
I'm thinking along the lines of just coming in Thursday and carrying on as.is, then invoicing at the end of the week. This will cause a little 'bump' with the agency.
Apart from the 'risk' element in possibly losing a few days payment due from the agent to there being no formal contract I want to know if I am agreeing to any terms???
