Ive just accepted a job in Singapore and will be there in a couple of weeks. Im from the UK , but my wife is from singapore originally, so obviously we have family there which is a big pull factor for us. We go there once every year or so but it will obviously be different working there.
Good luck! Come back in a few months and let us know what you think of it.

Looking forward to the move. Im expecting longer working hours than the uk, but am used to the long hours in the uk also working in the financial sector.
The main reasons for the move are for our two kids and my wife to see her family, but will also be good for me career wise.
Excellent! Great to see people busting a move to somewhere different - variety is the spice of life and all that and things in the UK seem pretty grim oop north and even down south, plus you are about to get caught in the shrapnel as the Euro explodes. Singapore should be a welcome relief.
Please post back once you get settled a bit and let us know what it's like and how you landed a role etc.
