How is the UAE atm - anyone there on contract?

I keep getting calls from an agent about a (rather nebulous) role in the UAE.

Just wondered how things are out there atm and whether I should investigate the role a little more, currently awaiting initial telephone interview set up for next week.

I was there for 3 Days in Nov.. Guys I spoke to said the market was dead, but u only need one contract!

The market isn't dead at all, its just more polarized IMO.. depending on your contacts, skillset, experience and willingness to travel the market is either s****ter than ever or better than it's even been.

For short term contract it should be okay. You will enjoy it. It was Bahrain that had problems recently.
