(PlanB) Setting up a businnes in Oz with subcontractors

    Hi.

I have been currently offered a contract position in in the intersection of mining and IT in Australia, it is on the shortage list, I think, otherwise they would not be in touch with foreigners, I think..
I don't think I would be able to do it full-time myself due to remoteness, I would instead prefer to sub-contract the work and send on or two contractors from UK or Oz - not sure yet in my place (that is if the client is ok with it).
Any idea on how to set it up from a legal point of view, any pointers on where to go and ask?
Ideally I would run this through my UK Ltd, but I suppose anyone physically there need to have a working visa and I don't mind paying Oz taxes, just not sure how.

Can I as a foreigner set up a business in Oz (IT consultancy, or a recruitment intermediary)? What's are the level of CGT and personal tax over there?
I don't expect a full FAQ here, but a few pointers would be useful as on google "australia visa" the official immigration office barely makes it to the top and the rest is just middlemen trying to cash on the boom...
