    Debt recovery and debt writeoff

Got a mate who has made some bad decisions about who to go into business with and how to not get paid for work done.
He is in a hole now and needs some good advice about recovering money from reluctant payers and potentially his options for bankruptcy, IVA etc.
Can anyone recommend people who can do either ? No loan consolidation firms needed just someone who can take a look and sort it. Debt recovery would help too.

    TIA

Consumer Credit Counseling Service and Citizens Advice for starters. If he has an accountant or a decent business manager in his bank they may be able to help.

Cheers, think this is half his problem, he has trusted some people in the partnership and they have left him swinging in the breeze when it has gone wrong.
