Can agency terminate the contract while I'm off?

It's a simple contract, 30 days notice on each end. Agency wanted me to sign opt-out but I didn't (it would have been invalid anyway). I am taking some weeks off agreed with the end client.
Should something happen while I'm away (Greece defaults etc) that causes them to want to terminate can the agency terminate 30 days from say 1st day of where I'm off? It could mean very little time to look for sth else after I'm back from hols...

I don't see why they couldn't and I don't mind, but perhaps there is something in the Agency regulations with them not being able to let me go while I'm away? Do I need to acknowledge the receipt of that, how should they notify me?

The notice means that the agency can give you notice while you are on holiday but why should there be any reason to unless the client is unhappy?

I can't imagine a reason why they could validly back date the notice before the date they give you it
