    Anyone here a 'network programmer'

    I'm not ever sure if that's the right term. Friend of mine has a business idea (He's been a trading / FIX guy for years), is willing to pay some FL money or stake in a company. Essentially looking to develop an app that replays trading traffic across a network, but with 'intelligence' (Dunno any more than that).

    PM me if you're interested, or know anyone.

    Hmmm, i'm sure there are subtle differences, but there are plenty of "big boys" who do this kind of stuff already - you could google; Fluke Networks or Riverbed Cascade as a starting point

      I used to work for riverbed andhave used fluke many times. I'm not sure what he's after exactly, but I think itsmore than straight traffic replay - plus they cost a tulipload of money (well cascade for sure is in 6 figure territory).
