    Funding Circle - anyone lending?

Some tempting yields - but if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

Anyone on here put money into funding circle ?

I've been looking at P2P lending. There was a thread on Zopa and Ratesetter in General a couple of days ago.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

But does it look too good to be true?

All that Funding circle is doing is taking requests for loans, putting them through the normal vetting criteria as banks do, and putting them out to lenders to lend to.
Banks charge figures like 8% plus to lend to businesses so why shouldn't individuals do the same?

I've signed up and put £20K of my Ltd company funds into it, and am averaging a 7.5% return (reduced to 7.2% after bad debts).

        Cut out the middle-man.
