Depending on how you submitted the invoices you could break it down into 5k chunks. Sue him for what's owed from period to period. Don't submit claims at the same time though or the other party will simply apply to have them joined.Originally posted by pojka
My claims at this initial stage must be against the single company that is named on my contract, however this will not be the final stage of legal action by any stretch. Unfortunately the sum owed is above the threshold for a small claim

I feel your pain
Had something similar in the past, although not on this scale. Hang in there and don't forget the interest, legal costs and loss of earnings. Hang in there, fingers crossed for you.Comment

I had a spot of bother with these shysters a while back. Steve Dale was in the thick of it then too. Ended up issuing a County Court Claim and eventually received all outstanding monies + debt recovery costs + interest.
Dunno if this is of any use to you, but do a search on Co House WebCHeck for I.T. Recruitment Solutions Limited (note the full stops) with a Co Reg No = 06180003. It changed its name to Specialist Recruitment Solutions on 27/05/2010 before going into liquidation.
The *new* IT Recruitment Solutions Limited (no full stops) Co Reg No = 07285564, was incorporated on 15/06/2010.
Hope everything goes OK for you.Comment

Can you ask everyone you are in contact with who has been screwed, to do what I asked you to do as it may be more effective in getting the issue sorted?Originally posted by pojkaStill not been paid."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

They company was not wound up, it was dissolved. i.e. it no longer exisits. All company debts also disappeared with it.
I think your only hope now is to pin something on the directors in their personal capacity. Did they send you a copy of the DS01 application to strike off? As you are a known creditor then they are obliged to do so, so that you have a chance to object to the dissolution. If they did, and you didn't object, then that's pretty much the end of the story I think.Comment
