Son contracting at same client site

My current client is wanting to take on a couple of junior testers and asked if I knew anyone who'd be interested. Yes, my son I said. Great said the client. We'll discuss it next week when you come in!

Magic! Just the opportunity I was looking for to get him on the first contracting rung of the ladder.

That said, there's no point him having his own ltd co just yet so, he'll need to work through my ltd co if it works out.

I've currently got a contract with the client to middle of Feb 2011 with further extension to middle of June 2011 after that.

But, is it best he has a separate contract through my ltd co and agent (spit but client operates a sole supplier agreement) or, I have my contract amended (if poss) to include him as my ltd co's resource for the duration?
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Having been in a similar position I opted to put him through my books - like an umbrella. Wish I hadn't cos the extra paperwork just wasn't worth it. Get him a separate ltd or umbrella would be my advice.

As Sausage Surprised said..... put him through his own Ltd company or Umbrella. I would go further to say go through an Umbrella, just in case contracting isn't his thing.

BTW, is your client still looking for some junior testers?
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.
