Had an interview with Research Machines in Abingdon which seemed to go quite well.
Role did seem incredibly boring though and it seems a pretty soul destrying place to work, anyone had any experience of working there?

RM......well Good points first..
1. Easy going place , no work pressure (as if you are in public sector - work for mostly public sector schools, uni, QCA)
2. Good breakfast/lunch at low cost
3. Free travel in bus from Abingdon/Oxford to RM site
4. Cool permies, no issues with contractors (reason below)
5. Free car parking

Bad points
1. Lowest paid in South (reason why permies happy with contractors)

Hmm, that's interesting. They've put me forward at £320/day which isn't too bad if they are the wrost payers in the south. Mind you, it would appear that have of their workforce comes from Trivandrum so maybe you're right.
