I had a telephone interview for a permie role yesterday.... just for the practice you understand

To my surprise I had a call very soon after from the pimp telling me they'd like to arrange a face to face... I'll go along but the very thought of being permie is giving me cold shivers.

Still I suppose it's better than nothing - my daily job emails still show an average ratio of 10:1 in favour of local permie gigs as opposed to contracts. Hope it picks up soon.

Same here. Had a call direct from a company asking for interview. Permie role 85 - 90k but the thought of going permie does not appeal. Think I'll ring back and ask if they fancy taking on as a contractor for a while and see what they say.
