Hi,
So this situ is as follows. Been doing a rolling contract at bank A with a well known agency for last couple years. Have now been offered a new contract at bank B for a much better daily rate.
However the agency guy said need to do background checks which are probably a lot stricter than when I started the previous contract.
Bit of background is that due to foolish behaviour and mix up with forwarded mail a few years ago I'm a bit worried my credit score is not great.
Is this normal for an agency to do background checks for a new role despite the fact I'm currently working through the same agency at another role and the relationship is working just fine?
My nightmare scenario is that I resign at bank A and then bank B withdraw the offer leaving me well and truly screwed.
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Langkawi
