Are you comparing London to Sydney, or Swindon to Wagga Wagga or !?Originally posted by DieScum View PostThanks guys. Appreciate the help!

I'm 5 years out of date but I'd say 120K isn't high enough. I'd go by the more normal exchange rate of $2.30-2.50 to the pound. I also suspect that Sydney has got a lot more expensive since I was last there, especially on the accomo front.Comment

I'm comparing home based, in my case Cardiff, to Sydney. So I'm guessing Sydney is more like London prices. Will have to factor that in.Comment

It's less than $1.80 to the pound.Comment

I would think 69K is exceptional for Cardiff, but 120K much more run of the mill for Sydney. I'm pretty sure money wise you'll be out of pocket. I always treated Sydney as a break even lifestyle option and worked in the UK if I was chasing money.Originally posted by DieScum View PostI'm comparing home based, in my case Cardiff, to Sydney.
