There are quite a lot out there.

The Post Office, who are a broker like most Banks and Building Societies, will get you covered by insurance companies like Fortis.

Like RC I was with Barclays and I used to check every year and they were fine with covering business eqpt ( laptop / printer etc ) up to value of 2500 pounds at home. Expressly said it was my registered office and eqpt. belonged to my Ltd Co. So long as no business visitors came to home they said all Ok.
Changed this year to Zurich Home Insurance ( cheaper than Barclays for same cover ) , had same conversation and received same advice. Business eqpt covered so long as premises not visited by Clients .
Check with your current home contents insurers , they may have changed their views from a few years ago .
