    .NET developer "What am I worth?" (Should I come b

    Hi, I have worked in London in the past as a contractor and was thinking about coming back. Now before, I go back to a life of northern line tube rides and pints of Stella I would like to know..... Given the information below as well as tertiary quals and nice references, what could I expect to get (Contract or permie)??

    =======================
    Microsoft .NET framework three years C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Server Control extension.

    Microsoft Active Server Pages five years VBScript, HTML

    Microsoft SQL Server six years (Relational database design, Stored Procedures, Data Transformation Services, Freetext search)

    COM and COM+ Development four years

    Visual Basic 6.0 four years

    XML two years
    ====================

    I would ask a recruitment agent (ha ha ha) but would like a real world view.....

    Thanks in advance
    Mark

            if you got investment banking experience, you can expect between 550-650 in a top tier bank.
            up to 450-500 in an hedge fund.

            350 in any other industry
