Jobserve - is there a sniping tool?

Automatic? Doubt it but there is a Jobserve sidebar gadget for Vista which you can find in the gadget search.

They already are.

One day, one of them will figure out that perhaps they should use the ones they already have, in their searchable databases, rather than stick every requirement on Jobserve and sink under the sheer weight of emails.

Then again, that requires the application of intelligence...

Couldn't agree more. In fact one agent I spoke to recently said he's trying to do just that because when the job requirement hits the net it's like the "wild west"!!

It's a shame agencies have to work in such a reactive way. I sometimes wonder if the clients realise that all they do is punt everything onto Jobserve.

It's cheap, it's well known, it's easy to use. Plus most agencies use Broadbean to post to multiple boards anyway, so it's only two mouse clicks away, and JS is the industry default.

It does what it says on the tin. That is how you get to be commercially successful.
