    Any Ideas ?

Do you know how you can find companies that are using a specific system, to allow me to send my CV?

Difficult to find out even with the internet

It really depends on how specialised this "system" is.

If it is Microsoft Office that you are talking about then I know that a very large number of companies use it.

Otherwise see if you can find anything from the Vendor's website.

If the system is specialised then vendors do like to put out press releases when they sell to a new customer so see if there are any of those on the internet.

If the vendor is a listed company then see if you can get any clues from their annual report and accounts. If the vendor is in a specialist market these can contain details of new business (and sometimes pipeline business if the company is on shaky ground).

thanks, AS400, Movex, JD Edwards. I would like to find what companies are using these systems but when I search you have to pay.

Hmm. There is a load of customer information on both the Movex and JD Edwards vendors' websites.

You are not looking hard enough.

Companies such as IBM guard this information, apart from the occasional press release, so that their competitors can't target their customers for so-called competitive winback campaigns.

Your best bet might be to become an IBM Business Partner offering services to AS/400 customers (by the way, "AS/400" how quaint!). That way you're more likely to have access to inside information and resources to help you find your customer base.

Ditto becoming an Oracle BP for JDE contacts and information.

There are several groups on Linked-in for AS400 pros. I don't use JDE, but I expect there's a group for that too.

Not sure that will give you any solid leads but it would help...
