Anyone tried working from home using freelanceworkexchange?

I have looked through and found a good mix of contracts working from home but am yet to take the plunge.
Has anyone got any first hand experience to share?

      Just had a look...

      1) Its American.

      2) It charges you for the service

      3) I flatly refuse to believe the "recommendations" quoted - not even Americans are that enthusiastic!

      4) You can't actually see any real-world opportunities, only a pile of success stories.

The words "barge" and pole" come to mind...

"The words "barge" and pole" come to mind..." summarises it well.

I should like to remind the poster about the BB policy about adds!

How many people would fall for that type of marketing?

            g002ahe,
That might have passed for decent viral marketeering in '99 but nowadays you'll have try harder. Me and my mates all use ThunderMedia Viral Marketing Services LLP. They're part of the ThunderCorp group who are a great bunch of lads.

Probably quite fun "working from home using freelanceworkexchange"
              apart from the words:
In order to apply for this position, you need to be a paid Professional Member of Freelance Work Exchange. If you're already a member, please log in to the Project Directory here

If you haven't signed up yet, you can join right now to get immediate access to our entire database of jobs and projects. - which one would imagine to be quite illegal in the UK to ask for money to be able to apply for a job!

Other than that, what can I say !

There were seceral such IT 'exchange' sites set up in the dot.con boom - some of which charged thousands of pounds.... One I clearly remember seemed to be dominated by contracts freely available on the Internet from the EU OJEC... which one man companies stood no chance of winning anyhow...
