I'm likely to be dealing with a recruitment agency soon and these boys GCS are leading the field. Are they sound, i.e. anybody know if they're likely to go bust in the next 6 months?

Re: GCS
Have been contracting them for over 3 years. Never had any sort of problem with payments etc, but...but they are very slow at sorting the paperwork for extensions, even to the point of expecting you to (after being offered an extension by your boss at the site you are working on), to continue working 'out of contract' until they finally do their paperwork.
That all sounds OK, but I never work 'out of contract' for fear of being stung..IE Not getting paid, as has happened to me previously to the tune of £4k in the Vizzavi fiasco a few years ago.
Simply, I tell GCS that I will not be in on Monday, as my contract has ended and I have not yet signed another. They usually send it out PDQ then!Comment
